Shaolin Temple and the Chinese publishing house will organize "China martial arts secrets". It is a significant summary of the Chinese martial arts through their history in the academic work. Also the martial arts will have something to give in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as a special gift.

According to the Shaolin Temple abbot, Ven. Shi Yong Xin who will introduce "China martial arts secrets heritage" is believed that the book will receive a great scope as it breaks through the narrow sense of the martial arts ancient book category, and has a junction with the martial arts inserts relational in the books domain.

Its content mainly contains the following four categories:

First is the martial arts academic work, of the bright Yu Da You " through the sword passes", as well as texts about wanderers and heroes, and other neighbouring countries martial arts work, written in Chinese language.

Second is the ancient times guide, keeping in good health, qigong clasical books, of the Western Han Dynasty.

In the third category there are books about nation¡¯s other sports, of all previous fallen dynasties, the archery, the shuttlecock etc.

Fourth is about the Chinese medicine with the ¡°injury from fractures¡± related work, the ancient medicine, the folk medical formula and so on.

¡°The ancient books of martial arts are in our country classical literature, which has a very high academic value. But this kind of ancient books have not always obtained the proper value. Early in the past appeared special martial arts books, as the ¡°Chinese book of the Martial arts heritage" in which there were recorded "The Soldier Fighting Skills" altogether 13.199. ¡±; Shi Yong Xin said.

It is pity such books from Sui and Tang dynasties have been lost. Now only from Wei dynasty ancient books has survived in Chinese language. Up to now, only Song and Yuan dynasties martial arts books, exists and only a part of The book of archery.

A magnicicent book from which we can see the excellent work of theese two dynasties.

From the early beginnings, martial arts imediately had the upsurge, and produced groups of outstanding martial arts works.

Also appeared many martial arts work, included some rare works like "Shaolin boxing", " The Soldier Fighting Skills" and so on.

It is reported, that the entire set of books will be finish its printing by the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, and the complete set will grandly be promoted from Chinese government.
