At September 13th, Zhen Zhou, Shaolin Temple abbot Shi Yong Xin and the Henan Province charitable committee agreed to let Shaolin Monks rescue 1,000 orphans.

Abbot Shi Yong Xin said that Shaolin Temple will help orphans, as much as it can. Shaolin Temple will be providing a good life and an excellent learning environment to the orphans.

This operation will rescue more than 1,000 orphans. In order to guarantee the rescue fund according to the plan, the Provincial charitable committee and Shaolin Temple will jointly sponsor a large-scale fund-raising campaign from September 28 to November 15.
