The Warriors of Shaolin

AFTER a hugely successful Irish tour last year the Warriors of Shaolin Kung Fu are back with a brand new show and will be performing in the Theatre Royal on Tuesday, March 29th. The 30-strong troupe will descend on venues to perform what is deemed to be an truly spectacular show for all ages young and old.

Tickets priced €25 for children, €35 for adults and €105 for a group of four. All prices are subject to booking fee and tickets are available from the Theatre Royal box offices and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

The legendary Shaolin monastery, known by many tales and ancient stories, is considered the cradle of all existing Chinese fighting skills, known as ¡°WUGONG¡±. 1500 years ago, a monk named Ta Mo, as well called Bodhidharma, settled down in Shaolin monastery, and started to develop the famous ¡°18 Techniques for Buddha¡¯s Students .¡°He got to that point by modifying all of the 24 body exercises, which the monks practised before and after the daily long meditations to keep all the muscles of their bodies in best condition.

The Warriors Of Shaolin Kung Fu come from the heart of Henan county, where the Shaolin monastery still is located on the bottom of the holy mountain of Song Shan.

This production is at this time worldwide the only one that comes directly from the Shaolin district. It¡¯s a sensational show, designed for Russia¡¯s President Putin and is on tour throughout Europe for the first time now with numerous warriors acting as ambassadors for MARTIAL ARTS.

Very different from all the other shows with a one-on-one-artistic-act conception, this new production features almost 50 actors and is one of the biggest in the word. It¡¯s based upon a continuous story. This action gives all artistic highlights a framework of glamour and sense.
