The costs are depending primarily on the school. Depending upon school costs are between 150 and 700 US$ each month, inclusive accommodation and training. In some schools eating is inclusive but in our school the food was so awful that we preferred the meal in the surrounding restaurants. If you do not go in the most exclusive restaurants, it costs about 50 - 60 US$ for one month (eating and drinking).

If you want to stay more than 4 months you must travel to Hong Kong, in order to receive a new visa. Since Hong Kong is very expensive, you should calculate at least 300 US$ for a short trip.

A flight to Beijing depending on the duration costs between 500 and 900 US$, the flight from Beijing to Zhenzhou costs approx. 100 US$.

We have spent approx. 5500 US$ for one year's stay in China, inclusive all costs (visa fee, inoculation, dictionaries, flight reservation; in China school fee, eating, extension of the visa, journey to Hong Kong, beverages, trips, telephone charges, journey to Hainan, Yangshuo, Guillin, Xi'an, Shanghai, Beijing, as well as all sightseeings).
