Russian President Vladimir Putin left Beijing on Wednesday noon for Henan Province in central China to continue his state visit to the country.
Putin will visit the Shaolin Temple, which is famous for martial arts, or Kungfu, and is listed as a world heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
During Putin's stay in Beijing, Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks with him on further enhancing the China-Russia strategic and cooperative partnership, as well as major international and regional issues of common concern.
Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, or parliament, and Premier Wen Jiabao met with Putin on separate occasions.
The two countries signed a joint statement and a series of documents on bilateral cooperation.
